15+ years building data-intensive applications. Streaming, batch, data processing. The output feeds model training and serving, dashboards and reporting, A/B testing and analytics.
I built visual search. Per-item compute was expensive, so even partitions gave hot clusters. It had about 1.5 million uses a week.
When I took over data science and data engineering, about a third of production models could not be recreated. We put CI/CD on ML pipelines.
I design practical, clean solutions and build teams around them. Currently focused on agentic systems, AI observability and evaluations.
